St. Mark’s Church “Winter Fair” 2017

In theory our Winter Fair began at 2.00 p.m. on Saturday 2nd December 2017. However, in practice money was changing hands earlier than that! For example, people were keen to get in and buy cakes before they all disappeared!

The Poinsettia Plants and Christmas table decorations also went like “hot cakes”! Certainly later comers had no chance to buy them.

After a slower start, the café was soon buzzing – and the cakes were absolutely delicious!

Less exotic but in their own way, just as delicious were the copious groceries also available to buy.

These are but some of the fairs attractions and, of course, a lot of hard work went on behind the scenes; to set up the fair and clear it away again afterwards.

anyone who contributed to the fair in anyway,

not least to

all you lovely people who came along to support it.

As a matter of interest, at the time of typing, the fair has raised over £900.   Well done everybody!
