On Tuesday 17th April, at 10. 30am ,the Good Shepherd Mission welcomed a group of ladies from Ormskirk Parish Church. These ladies meet once a month in the Winter on a Tuesday, but in April they visit a different church for a guided tour and to learn some of its history.
Today was their 15th church visit; they were also joined by some of our congregation.
Rev Eileen lead a short worship with prayer, Heather Whittaker read the Lesson.
After worship Mary Jones gave a talk about the history and life of the Good Shepherd from it beginning in 1907.
Everyone enjoyed the visit, they were able to look at photograph albums and join in fellowship with tea and biscuits.
We are very grateful that the group wanted to visit the Good Shepherd.
Thank you to Mary for this report and these photos.
I have since heard that at least one of the ladies felt that this was the best visit that they had had. So well done everybody.
